GoodGravel

About GoodGravel

GoodGravel helps homeowners, contractors, and landscapers plan gravel projects accurately and connect with local suppliers.

Why GoodGravel Exists

Buying gravel is more confusing than it should be.

  • Tons vs. yards vs. square feet — suppliers quote in different units, calculators disagree, and most people just guess.
  • Depth, waste, and compaction matter — order too little and you're making a second trip. Order too much and you're stuck with a pile in your driveway.
  • Pricing varies wildly by region — the same gravel can cost $20/ton in one county and $50/ton in the next. There's no transparency.
  • Big-box stores don't help with planning — they sell bags. They don't tell you which gravel to use, how deep to lay it, or how many tons to order.

We built GoodGravel to fix that. Every calculator, guide, and cost breakdown on this site exists because someone, somewhere, was about to over-order crushed limestone for a patio.

Built by people who got tired of guessing.
