ABOUT US The story of U.S. Sand & Gravel began as a dream for Casey and Celeste Raitz, a young couple who dreamt of owning their own business. The vision for that dream began coming into focus in 2015 when Casey purchased what would become the company's first piece of equipment - a used Freightliner dump truck. Today, the Stephenville-based, family-owned business employs more than 60 people and owns a fleet of Freightliner and Western Star Trucks available to assist with hauling, and equipment and crews to tackle any size project. US Sand & Gravel utilizes its own pits to ensure access to top-of-the-line aggregate material for your specific needs. Customer service is the company's No. 1 priority. While the Raitz family continues to enjoy watching their company grow, the Tarleton State University graduates also remain focused on giving back to the community by supporting a variety of local events. The company is also known for stepping in when natural disasters arise – from providing water trucks to assist with wildfires to supplying residents with fresh water and diesel to local farmers during a winter freeze.
